We are a family run designer, developer, and publisher of iPad, iPod Touch, and iPhone Apps for education. Our applications provide a means of personalized learning and collaboration between students from Kindergarten through Middle School.
iHomeEducator®, Inc. was founded in 2009 by a credentialed California State Board of Education mother and computer programming father actively home educating three children. We strive to help children build confidence in math and grammar concepts combined with engaging social studies, geography, science, history, and literature themes. Our goal is to provide cross-curricular supplemental apps for educators. The ideas for our apps come from parent educators, our middle school Product Manager, and our own iHomeEducator® family innovation team.
Math Apps
First we developed the MathSpin series to teach basic math skills. Then one day we needed math word problems to help our 6th grader, so we designed and developed iLiveMath. In the iLiveMath Apps series, every theme is carefully selected to provide a foundation of teaching critical mathematical concepts, problem-based learning, and logical thinking. iLiveMath Apps build confidence in reading word problems that teach addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, rate, time, geometry, mean, median, mode, etc. The iLiveMath App Series was awarded the 2010 Best Math App Series by IEAR.org.

Grammar Apps
In the Grammar Apps series we have combined grammar concepts with science. iLiveGrammar Apps build confidence in reviewing how nouns, verbs, adjectives, adverbs, conjunctions, and prepositions are used in sentences. iLiveGrammar Botany was nominated for Best Language Arts App by IEAR.org
Automated Grading
Teachers and Parents use auto-generated email and blogs to keep track of student progress. Examples of recorded grammar app tests and math app tests show how questions are randomly compiled and how the test captures the student's correct, incorrect answers, the final percentage/count scores, and answer key.
Classroom Collaboration
Note: The above demonstration video shows the iPad to VGA adapter and code that has been added to this app to enable projection of the word problem and photograph for classroom instruction and collaboration. Adapter can be purchased in the Apple store under iPad accessories.
Proprietary Platform
Furthermore we are using our proprietary iOS software platform to help other homeschool education content providers design, develop, and publish apps including exciting new subjects such as but not limited to science, history, and geography.
We strive and have carefully developed mobile applications based on California Academic Content Standards and gauged the applications to the child’s abilities and interests based upon their grade level.
We've seen our own children benefit a great deal and we hope that our applications will help your children find learning to be new and fun as well!

Logo Meaning
One fall day in 2009 we decided to roll out the paper and paint...then with great joy each of our children started making hand prints in their favorite colors. They had a blast and these colorful hand prints still hang from our dining room walls today. Each child's handprint was then digitally photographed and used in our logo. Our oldest daughter's hand is the largest purple hand. The pink and blue are our younger daughter and son respectively. We wanted this to truly represent our intent to build educational apps for our kids... Designed by kids and for kids.
